What is TFP?
TFP (Time for Print / Time for Photos) is a creative collaboration between a photographer and a model where no money is exchanged. Instead, both contribute their time and energy to create something meaningful and receive photos for their portfolios or personal use.
🤔 Important to understand:
TFP is not when you randomly decide you want new pictures and message a photographer to shoot you for free just because you “feel like it.”
TFP is:
✔️ The realization of a specific artistic idea,
✔️ A chance to explore new techniques, concepts, or styles,
✔️ A shoot that happens only when the photographer has free time, creative drive, and inspiration.
TFP Terms & Conditions:
📌 I choose which photos will be edited.
📌 RAW files are never shared. No exceptions.
📌 Editing is minimal. (Details can be found on my pricing page.)
📌 Photos are edited in my free time – meaning after paid projects are complete and when I feel inspired. There are no fixed deadlines.
📌 You might receive only 1 edited photo – it depends on the shoot’s purpose and final result.
📌 You might not be the main focus of the shoot. The story, atmosphere, details, or concept may take the spotlight. You might not even be clearly visible – it’s part of the creative freedom.
What do you get?
✔ 1–10 edited photos (depending on the shoot)
✔ Cinematic vibe, emotional depth, and aesthetic visuals
✔ A supportive, creative, and respectful collaboration
✔ A chance to be part of a unique artistic concept
What do I expect?
🌿 Openness to the creative process and ideas
🌿 Respect for my time, vision, and workflow
🌿 Proper credit when posting the photos (@alice_zenkina)
🌿 Understanding that TFP is not a substitute for a paid shoot
Is TFP right for you?
‼️ If you want:
• a guaranteed number of photos,
• a shoot based on your idea and preferences,
• full control over posing, styling, and results,
• the option to keep photos private,
• a shoot scheduled exactly when it’s convenient for you –
Then you are looking for a commercial photoshoot, not TFP.
These are two completely different types of collaboration.
